Couch hockey for everyone

Blades &
Biscuits

Pick up a controller and you're playing in seconds. Stick around and there's always another trick to learn. Fast skating, big hits and a puck with a mind of its own. Grab a friend (or three) and drop the biscuit.

Skating that feels great
Feel the speed

Skating that feels great

Wind up, build speed and lean into the turns. Go too fast and you'll swing wide. Slam on the brakes and the snow flies. It's fun even with nobody else on the ice.

  • Big, swooping turns at full speed
  • Skate backwards, cross over and spin
  • Tired legs late in a shift (time for a change!)
The puck has a mind of its own
The biscuit

The puck has a mind of its own

It isn't stuck to your stick. It bounces, rolls and wobbles like a real puck. Passes get picked off, rebounds pop loose, and how you swing decides the shot: a big slapper, a quick snap or a sneaky wrister.

  • Dekes, saucer passes and one-timers
  • Wild scrambles in front of the net
  • Aim help if you want it, never cheating
Rattle the boards
Big hits

Rattle the boards

Line someone up and lay them out. Players stumble, spin and crash to the ice, then get back up. Every so often the glass shatters, or someone tumbles right into the bench.

  • Body checks, poke checks and stick lifts
  • Drop to block a shot, or dive to poke the puck away
  • Every fall is a little different
Your controls, your way
Easy to learn

Your controls, your way

New to hockey games? Play Hybrid: one button to shoot, one to pass. Want more? Switch to Total Control and shoot with the right stick. Turn the help up while you learn, and down as you get good.

  • Works with Xbox, PlayStation and Switch controllers
  • Keyboard on computers, touch on phones and tablets
  • Make the computer as easy or as tough as you like
Drop the gloves
Fight Night

Drop the gloves

Somebody took a cheap shot? After the whistle, settle it. Jab, grab, throw a special move and finish them with one button. Or skip the hockey and play a whole night of fights.

  • Arcade-style fights with special moves
  • Grabs, combos and big finishers
  • {"Fight Night mode": "one bout after another"}

Icing, offside, penalties and penalty shots. Or switch them off and just play.

Three lines that get tired. Send out a fresh one, or let the coach do it for you.

Instant replays

Goals and big hits play again on their own. Rewind and watch them as often as you like.

Shootouts

Tied after overtime? It's a shootout. Or jump straight into one from the main menu.

Be the goalie

Take over in net. Make the save, smother the puck, then fire it up the ice.

More teams

Add new team sets that friends share with you, right from the menu.

The league

32 teams. All of them delicious.

Welcome to the Blades & Biscuits Hockey League, where every team is named after food. Cheer on the Maple Loafs or the Pie-guins, each with its own logo and jerseys, and players with names you'll *almost* recognise.

Questions

Before you lace up

What can I play it on?

It already runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, Steam Deck, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android and in your web browser. We'd love to bring it to consoles too.

Can I play with friends?

Yes! Up to four of you on one screen, on the same team or against each other. You can play online with a join code too.

Do I need a controller?

A controller is the most fun (Xbox, PlayStation and Switch controllers all work). You can also play with a keyboard, or with touch controls on a phone or tablet.

Why "biscuit"?

It's hockey slang for the puck. And “blades”? Those are your skates and your stick.
